Chinese New Year will fall on February 19 in 2015. The Spring Festival (Lunar Chinese New Year) starts from Feb. 18 to Feb. 25, 2015. For the Chinese people all over the world, the Lunar New Year is the celebration of the year, a time for family and friends, and it is rich in colorful traditions and customs. New Year's Day is also the first day of the first month of the Lunar Calendar! Each year is assigned an animal according to the Chinese Zodiac. The year 2015 is the year of the sheep/goat.
What you need:
2015 Year of the Sheep coloring page printable
Red craft paper
Gold pen or marker
Cotton balls
Glue
Scissors
Wiggly eye
Black craft paper
Scissors
What you do:
Print 2015 Year of the Sheep printable and cut out. Glue on top of the red craft paper. Decorate the red frame with a gold marker or glitter pen.
Let children tear the cotton balls into small pieces and glue them on the sheep.
Add a wiggly eye and a black ear.
