The importance of instilling the concept of...
You know Easter is near when grocery store shelves start filling up with marshmallow bunnies and chicks in bright spring colors. Yes, it's PEEPS season. We had some fun turning some yellow PEEPS into QUACKS to use in our duck pond pretend play area. Stock up on PEEPS to make these fun, non-sticky QUACKs.
What you need:
Ducks Beak and Feet Pattern printable
PEEPS marshmallow chicks
Extra Hold hair spray
Orange craft paper
What you do:
Print the Heart and Beak Pattern pieces and trace on orange craft paper. Spray PEEPS with a generous amount of extra hold hair spray. Let dry. This will make the PEEPS non-sticky and the sugar won't rub off. Cut out beaks and heart feet shapes.
Glue PEEPs to the top of the heart shape.
Glue beak on top of the PEEPS' head. Let dry.
Use some blue fabric or paper to make a pond. Add green tissue paper and plastic or real plant clippings to complete the pond theme. Let childre use their QUACKS to play.
