What you need:
What you do:
Print Grinch patterns. Trace on red and yellow craft paper and cut out.
Paint child's hand with green paint and make a hand print on a white sheet of paper. Sprinkle green glitter on the hand print while it is still wet. Let dry.
Cut out the hand print, leaving some white paper showing and glue the print to green craft paper. Glue yellow eyes on the hand print.
Glue the Grinch hat and jacket to the hand print. Glue cotton balls to the hat and the collar to make white fur.
Use the black marker to draw eyes, a nose and a mouth on the Grinch.
Children stand in a circle. Place one chair in the middle of the circle and place a hand bell below it. Choose one child to be a Who from Whoville. The Who is sleeping on the chair with his/her eyes closed. Quietly choose one child to be the Grinch. The Grinch sneaks up to the Who child and quietly takes the hand bell from under the chair. The Grinch runs out of the circle ringing the bell. As soon as the Who child hears the bell, he/she gets up and tries to catch the Grinch. The Grinch tries to run around the circle and into its opening to sit on the chair without being caught. If the Grinch succeeds, he/she is the Who child for the next round.
