What you need:
Silk flowers
Craft foam in different colors
Golf tees
Green play dough or Styrofoam block
Small basket
Black Sharpie

What you do:
Make some flower sticks by tracing and cutting flower petal shapes out of craft foam. Assemble flowers and glue to the top of the golf tees.
Cut off the flower heads of silk flowers and glue them to the top of the golf sticks.
Place flowers inside the basket. Place green play dough and container with golf tee flowers on a tray.
1. Review the shape of the lowercase letter f or the uppercase letter F together with children. Let children use green or brown play dough to form the letter.
2. Let children plant the flower sticks on top of the letter Ff play dough.
A Little Garden Flower
Original Author Unknown
A little garden flower
Is growing in its bed. (Make a fist with left hand.)
A warm spring sun
Is shining overhead. (Form circle with right thumb and finger.)
Down come the raindrops,
Dancing to and fro. (Move right fingers to make rain.)
The little flower wakens
And starts to grow. (Slowly extend index finger up from fist.)
Variation:
With a black Sharpie, write the lowercase or uppercase letter F on the Styrofoam block.
