With crooked knees and thin legs, it's hard for a giraffe to dance, but not for this cute giraffe that children can make with just a few simple items.

Book: Giraffes Can't Dance
Yellow craft stick
Yellow paint
Brown marker
Yellow craft paper
Orange craft paper
Brown or yellow yarn
Brown pipe cleaners
Black marker
Beads
Wiggly eyes
Scissors
Glue
What you do:
Draw an oval shape on to yellow craft paper and cut out.
Tie brown yarn around craft stick. Attach a bead to each end of the yarn.
Cut ears and snout out of craft paper and glue on to the oval. With a black marker, draw giraffe's eyes and nostrils.
Cut two 4-inch long pieces of pipe cleaner and roll one end of each piece into a ball. Glue to the back of the giraffe's head, using a staple to keep in place.
With the brown marker, draw spots on the craft stick and on the giraffe's face. Glue face on top of craft stick. Hold the craft stick giraffe and twirl to make the giraffe dance.
