Creative Camping Activities

Out camping? Here are some creative outdoor activities that will keep the family engaged at the campsite.

Mixed Media Painting: Using your campground surroundings, challenge your kids to think outside the box and employ mixed media to recreate the campsite on paper.

Materials: paper, colored paint, glue 

1. Have children collect materials from around the campsite that they could glue and use to craft: rocks, leaves, sand, twigs, flowers.
2. Have children recreate the campsite on paper using the materials they collected: glue them, color them, or paint them.
